About the event

This yin yoga class is an intentional preparatory practice for the Lunar New Year, offered in the days leading up to the shift into a new cycle. Rather than rushing toward resolution or intention-setting, this practice invites us to slow down, release what is no longer needed, and create space—physically, energetically, and emotionally—for what is ready to emerge.


In the Lunar New Year, the Year of the Horse symbolizes movement, vitality, freedom, and forward momentum. Before that energy fully arrives, yin yoga offers a necessary counterbalance—helping us ground, steady, and listen inward so that when movement comes, it is aligned rather than scattered.


Through long-held, supported yin postures, this class gently targets the deeper connective tissues and energetic pathways of the body, encouraging release, circulation, and quiet reflection.
